I feel like blush is seriously one of the hardest things to swatch! I piled it on till I looked clownish in real like but it still looks subdued in these photos. I don’t usually like arm swatches because I can’t visualize them on my face, but this shows the actual color much better. The left-hand side is the color applied directly without blending and the right-hand is after it’s been diffused.

This was part of my Becca beauty haul. I have a lot of blushes, but I didn’t have any of this darker pink, so when she offered it up I snatched it (or gratefully accepted with lots of thank yous and are you sures).

I apply it by using my finger tips to dot some on the apples of my cheeks and then blend it back toward my temple along my cheekbone. The texture is really creamy but it’s more solid than the Maybelline Dream Mousse blush I have (and also love). Anyhow, I diffuse it more with my beat up MAC 187 duo fibre brush and voila!

The color is buildable, and on me it looked like a very natural flush, almost like I’d just come in from the cold. That might not be the look everyone’s going for though, so if you’re especially pale like me and don’t want to look like you just came in after scraping ice off your windshield (like I do apparently because I love this color), don’t pick this particular shade. The formula isn’t for everyone (my momma didn’t like the one she picked out – I can’t remember which color), but if you want to ease into creamy blushes, I’d say this has a good chance of becoming a favorite drug store product.
