1. Naked Princess Naked Shine Luscious Lip Gloss in Barely Nude // I don’t wear a lot of lip gloss so I probably won’t wear this too much, but I think it offers an interesting look. It gives me that pale, Lana del Rey lip color. I probably should’ve been poutier in these pictures to show the likeness. This gloss isn’t too sticky, but it does wear off quickly as a result.

2. Karuna Hydrating Treatment Mask // If you want to scare your significant other, put this mask on while they’re out and then greet them at the door. I took this lovely self portrait with my iPhone. I just couldn’t get it to fit quite right.

I felt less pampered and more like Hannibal. It provided a pleasant warming effect in the beginning but when I peeled it off, there was a lot of product left over. The package said to rub that into my face and hands, but there was so much! I just felt slippery and then sticky. I noticed no different afterward. Sad face and disappointment.

3. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè (24-Hour Miracle Cream) // Run of the mill cream. It was nice on my face but took awhile to absorb into my face. I’ll stick with my Cetaphil.

4. Lulu Organics® Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder // I actually really liked this hair powder! It had a lovely lemony smell and didn’t leave a powdery mess in my hair. I like that it’s talc free so I worry a little less when I use it (hello inner hypochondriac), but I just recently bought Burt’s Bees Dusing Powder and I’ve been using that for dry shampoo (and deodorant! It smells like honey!), so I’ll want to go through that before buying this. This was my favorite product from the box and I would recommend it for anyone who uses dry shampoo and worries about talc (which has been suggested to have carcinogenic properties).

Hehehe, wow that mask! Ps. Silence of the Lambs was the first scary movie I ever watched as a child, and I’ve had a special fear in my heart of my skin being peeled off ever since.
