I love all the detailed reviews you post!!! If you had to pick between Birchbox and Sample Society, which would you choose? I’d like to try one of these services out, but I have to pick just one. Thanks!
Oooh that’s a tough one. It depends on what you’re looking for cause they seem to cater to two slightly different camps.
Sample Society is definitely the fancier of the two. I have gotten some amazing skin products from them and their sample sizes tend to be bigger than Birchbox. I still have my Oscar de la Renta perfume sample because it’s in a tiny BOTTLE, so I like to take it with me if I’m traveling so my hotel counter doesn’t look so barren. And don’t forget a full-size Deborah Lippmann nail polish. I died when I saw it.
Then there’s Birchbox, which in my brain is like the fun, casual cousin to the Sample Society box. I got more cosmetics from Birchbox, so if you’re more interested in make-up than skincare and cleansers, I’d pick that one.
I hope that helps! I couldn’t pick so I had both of them as long as my bank account would allow.
